JOB DESCRIPTION/ANNOUNCEMENT

Position: Middle School Leader                        Date Prepared: August 2011
Part-Time (5-10 hrs/week)                  Compensation: Approximately $100/week

DUTIES

I.   Wednesday Evening Program from 5:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Work with staff and volunteers ministering to middle school students on Wednesdays, September through March.
The ability to interact with young people is mandatory.
This position requires aptitudes in biblical teaching, group-building, worship and recreation.
A love for Christ and a desire to build healthy relationships with middle school students is paramount.

II.   Monthly Events

Help plan and execute monthly Middle School Fellowship events involving recreation, adventure, Christian Fellowship, camping, etc.
Attendance at overnight activities and weekend retreats may be required.

OTHER CONDITIONS

I.    90 day probation

III.   Required to attend a training session of the Knox Child Protection Policy.
