The updated Chicago Presbytery Directory, including all changes as of the August 2010 special assembly meeting, is posted. Also available is a mid-year update to the list of presbytery committees, work groups, and other entities. Please note that these updates include a new feature – email addresses! Last spring, we asked you if you wanted your email address included in the directory. Those of you who responded by saying, “Yes,” should find your preferred email address listed. Heritage Presbyterian wants advice on Flooring

Heritage Presbyterian Church in Carol Stream needs to replace the carpeting in the narthex and would like to know if any other churches may have replaced their old carpeting with tile or other non-carpet flooring recently. Our coffee fellowship hour is held in our narthex, and we are fearing the possibility of increased noise without the carpeting. Anyone with recent experiences or suggestions would be most appreciated. Call me (630-665-8157) or just let me know via e-mail.

COTC is looking for an individual with special skills in playing the organ and piano. This individual must have the ability to sight-read music, take direction from the church’s pastor and music director, as well as work as a team member in the music ministry of the church.

This is a salary position and responsibilities include rehearsals with the choir and Praise Band, and all scheduled worship services (Sundays and special holiday services) and other occasions in support of the music ministry of the church. This person will need to be available September 1 through May 31.

A drug screen and back round check will be required.

Interviews will be scheduled upon review of the applications.
