The Preview
The Presbytery of Chicago Preview is a bi-monthly newsletter of coming events, relevant to ministers, lay leaders, and congregations within the Presbytery. Many events are sponsored or initiated by churches or committees – others come from partner organizations.

Submission Guidelines:
The Preview carries a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike License (what does that mean?) with the following specification: “You can reissue or modify this content for your own church bulletin or newsletter, without crediting the Preview, but please credit any organizations, photographers, etc, that we credited.” Because of that, make sure you have the right to use the images and content that you send for use in the Preview, and that they can be similarly re-used by others.To submit upcoming workshops, events, application deadlines, etc to the Preview, your information should be received by 1st or 3rd Monday on the month. The Preview goes out the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month.
How much in advance of your event should you submit the information? Promotions will be run for a set number of issues based on their scope:
- Individual Church – up to 3 issues
- Covenant or Presbytery-wide – up to 4 issues
- Synod level – up to 5 issues
- National and General Assembly – up to 6 issues
