First Presbyterian Church Glen Ellyn, IL (https://firstpresge.org) is seeking a Director of Student Ministries. FPCGE is an externally focused community of unique and ordinary people seeking to prioritize the life of discipleship together as they celebrate a faith that is more than just Sundays.
The Director of Student Ministries will help develop and sustain student ministry programming designed to enhance students’ growth in Christ. The director will support and enhance the church’s existing student ministry program, which has experienced significant recent growth and momentum as FPGE continues to serve the unique, family-centered community of Glen Ellyn. The director will inspire and launch discipleship for students, partner with parents, and equip a volunteer team to lead students to embrace a vibrant faith journey.
Qualifications for this position include a deep growing faith in Jesus, a Bachelor’s degree, and 2-3 years of youth ministry experience. This person will build a team of volunteers and work collaboratively with parents to encourage the faith journey of students.
