Linn Presbyterian Church is seeking a full-time interim pastor to lead its congregation beginning after the New Year as we search for an installed pastor. This person must be an ordained PC(USA) Minister of Word and Sacrament or ordained as a pastor in a denomination in full communion with the PC(USA). Linn Presbyterian Church is a very active church in the beautiful Lake Geneva Area, full of recreational and cultural activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide spiritual and administrative leadership for the congregation
- Lead worship on Sundays and liturgical holidays in person. Our live worship services are recorded and posted on our Linn Church Facebook page.
- Plan music; both contemporary and traditional music.
- Officiate at weddings and funerals
- Provide pastoral care for the congregation.
- Provide for the special spiritual needs of members who have physical, hearing, vision, cognitive or developmental challenges
- Work with the Church Administrator to prepare Sunday bulletins and power point presentations.
- Serve as moderator of the session and congregational meetings.
- Serve as head of staff
- Assist boards and committees in their ministry and offer assistance as needed
- Work with personnel committee to hire some new staff positions

Term full time – flexible hours
